With Veterans Day around the corner, and as winter settles in over Colorado, Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) reminds military members that resorts have a menu of options for them to get on the slopes this ski season. To make it easier for military and retired military personnel to enjoy Colorado’s unmatched skiing, CSCUSA resorts are offering a surplus of savings on lift ticket and pass options.
Below are some of the military discounts offered at CSCUSA resorts this season.
Crested Butte Mountain Resort offers both a daily lift ticket and season pass pricing specifically for military members. Daily lift tickets are valid for active military, retired military, and Department of Defense employees and their dependents.

Compared to the regular ticket window price, a military ticket yields savings of between $34 – $46 depending on the date of purchase. Monarch does not offer a specific military discount, however, seniors 68 years and older ski for free at the resort. Details can be found at www.skimonarch.com.
Powderhorn has a season pass for the 2012/13 season at a special discounted rate for military. From now until November 15, 2012 military personnel can get a season pass at Powderhorn for $299, after November 15 the price changes to $389. The military discount provides a savings of up to $140. Ski Cooper welcomes military members and their dependents with discounted season pass and daily lift ticket prices. Adult military lift tickets are $41 and a military child lift ticket is $23, offering a small but heartfelt savings. Season Passes for Ski Cooper are offered at discounted rates for active and retired military personnel. An adult (15-59) season pass is $184 and a child season pass (6-14) is $89. Wolf Creek welcomes active duty military and their immediate family with discounted rates on daily lift tickets. Military adult (13-64) tickets are $35 and military child (6-12) tickets are $20, providing savings of $21 and $10 respectively. Also at Wolf Creek, any guest 80 year and older can ski for free.
