Labor Day Weekend promises to be a festive affair at Winter Park Resort with the arrival of the Zoppé Italian Family Circus, which will bring its old-world tradition of family fun to the resort for eight performances from Friday, August 30 to Monday, September 2.

Featuring acrobatic feats, equestrian showmanship, clowns, and plenty of audience participation, the Zoppé Family Circus brings the thrill and excitement of the circus into an intimate, 500-seat tent.  The show is led by Giovanni Zoppé, a sixth-generation circus performer who plays Nino the clown, the performance’s central figure.  Nino takes the audience through a central story, rather than individual acts, designed to touch every emotion.

Performances begin on Friday, August 30 with a 4:00 p.m. show and continue throughout the weekend.  Saturday and Sunday will feature three shows daily (1:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and  7:00 p.m.) before wrapping up the weekend with an 11:00 a.m. matinee on Monday, September 2.  Each performance lasts approximately an hour and a half.  Tickets are $20 for VIP chair seating or $15 for general admission bleacher seating and can be purchased at the gate one hour prior to each performance or in advance by visiting www.winterparkresort.com, the Winter Park Resort box office, or the Winter Park-Fraser Valley Chamber of Commerce located in the Town of Winter Park.   Those who buy tickets in advance can save $5. Children ages two and under are free.
