Winter Park's Mary Jane to Remain Open Until April 30

Thanks to over 280 of snow this season, Winter Park Resorts iconic Mary Jane Territory will remain open an extra week, with closing now slated for Sunday, April 30. Lifts and trails on the Winter Park side will still close on the originally scheduled closing weekend of April 22-23 with free music from Michael Franti & Spearhead on Saturday, April 22 and the always-popular Monster Energy Spring Splash on Sunday, April 23.

This will be the second consecutive season that Mary Janes season has been extended, meaning an extra week to enjoy her world-famous moguls, tree-skiing, and C-Lot parties. Exact available lifts and terrain will be released closer to the extension.
Lodging will still be available at Winter Park Resort properties, including Fraser Crossing/Founders Pointe, Zephyr Mountain Lodge, and the Vintage Hotel and select Winter Park shopping/restaurants will be open, but the center of the celebration will be the Mary Jane base. On Saturday, April 29 there will be a special Mary Jane closing party with live music and drink specials celebrating another great season. Shuttle buses will be available for transportation from the Winter Park side or visitors can take advantage of closer, free parking at the Mary Jane base area.

The season may be coming to a close, but its the perfect time to think about next year with 2017-18 passes on sale now at the lowest prices of the season. Making its triumphant return is the popular Kids Ski Free, where kids 12 and under ski free with purchase of an adult pass. Current prices are only guaranteed through April 10 so act now!

Those looking to save on spring skiing this season can take advantage of Winter Parks two special April passes, the Winter Park Triple Play, which includes three days at Winter Park for $149, or the Double Dip, which includes unlimited access at Winter Park and Steamboat for $199. Both passes are good to the end of the 2016-17 season only.
