Fall Festival Offers Halloween-Themed Activities and Leaf-Peeping in Colorado Rockies

Previously a fall festival that took place in Killington, Vt., to rave reviews, the family festival expands west this year as WitchCraft will make its Copper Mountain debut Sept. 8-10 and Sept. 15-17.

While saying goodbye to summer, WitchCraft invites guests to craft their own Copper Mountain weekend to fully embrace the resort’s fall offerings and celebrate the change of seasons. WitchCraft at Copper Mountain will feature pumpkin painting, apple launching, hay rides, a haunted house, trick or treat, a dog-costume competition, a kids’ costume parade and numerous other seasonal activities.

“We’re excited to bring WitchCraft to Copper this fall,” said Jesse True, senior vice president for Copper Mountain. “It’s our hope that WitchCraft becomes an unforgettable fall family experience with everything we’re offering at a time of year when Colorado’s autumn scenery is idyllic.”

In addition to the recreational components of WitchCraft at Copper, the event will also peak culinary senses with a Craft Beer Pairing Dinner, a Chili Cook-Off and Cajun-themed offerings. A fall festival would not be complete without a Brew Garden and live music with performances by Sam’s Funky Nation and Count Tutu.

Online ticket packages for WitchCraft at Copper are expected to vanish like ghosts. Guests can also save 20 percent on hotel rooms that are not haunted by visiting www.CopperWitchCraft.com.
