I’ve been out with the kids several times this year but for our first official family ski outing of the season, with the core four, we headed up to Loveland. It’s one of the areas we frequent for a few reasons: location, terrain and atmosphere.
Storm patterns that left Colorado resorts with copious amounts of precipitation over the previous weeks continued to swell during the past 48 hours, dropping fresh inches of fluffy powder at locations across the state. Further storm conditions are expected in the coming weeks, perfectly timed with the Christmas and New Year holidays on the horizon. The consistent weather patterns are enabling resorts throughout Colorado to open more terrain.
